    Garden birds

    Good to hear Willow Warbler singing in the garden this morning followed by two Sand Martins flying round and a Swallow in Daliburgh. Two Collared Doves have also moved in but are not ringed -no sign of the old pair. Also a very exposed Blackbird nest. Don't worry I was a long way from the nest.

    On the 22nd three Kestrels overhead, on the 23rd a Wood Pigeon passed by and this morning 24th. two female Chaffinch feeding with the Sparrows.

    South Uist today. A Glaucus gull and a large 60+ flock of Goldfinch on Orasay machair with Skylarks, Greenfinch, Twite and a Linnet , plus a couple of Snow Buntings on Askernish machair.
