A Pink-footed Goose, Gadwall and 3 Goldeneye were there today
Gress Beach, Isle of Lewis
A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew south along the coast and 4 Velvet Scoters were seen offshore
Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
3 juvenile Iceland Gulls were in the harbour area this morning. An adult was there later in the afternoon
Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 09:00-10:45
Weather: Wind WSW f6-7, cloudy with occasional light rain. Temp 10c.
A near 2 hour seawatch produced 1 Eider (S), 1 Long-tailed Duck (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 58 Shag (2S 56N), 34 Common Gulls (S), and 8 Great Black-backed Gulls (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 52, Wigeon 39, Tufted Duck 2, Cormorant 28, Merlin 1, Hooded Crow 1, Raven 12, and Twite 15
