The Snow Goose and *Common Crane* are still to be found on the machair there. A Pintail was nearby at Rushgarry.

South Glendale, South Uist
Chiffchaff and Blackcap seen in a garden there

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A two hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Eider (S), 14 Long-tailed Ducks (N), 4 Red-breasted Mergansers (N), 25 Red-throated Divers (N), 3 Great Northern Divers (N), 9 Gannets (N), 34 Shag (2S 32N), 5 Cormorants (2S 3N), 4 Kittiwakes (N), 1 Guillemot (N) and 6 auk sp (N). A Great Northern Diver, 48 Golden Plover and 26 Twite were also in the area.

Always Birding
37 Whooper Swans were on Loch Hallan along with 2 pair of Goldeneye. One of the two Little Egrets was also there while the other remained on Loch na Liana Moire at Daliburgh. At Kilpheder it was good to see 9 Greenland White Fronted Geese amongst the Greylags especially as 3 were juveniles.
