A 2.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 7 Eider (3S 4N), 4 Long-tailed Duck (3S 1N), 2 Red-breasted Mergansers (N), 2 Red-throated Divers (1S 1N), 2 Great Northern Divers (1S 1N), 4 Gannets (3S 1N), 47 Shag (3S 44N), 4 Cormorants (S) and a juvenile White-tailed Eagle (N). 64 Wigeon, 1 Goldeneye, 1 Red-throated Diver, 200 Sanderling and a Peregrine were also in the area

Always Birding
The American Golden Plover was still present today on the fields behind the houses at North Boisdale, South Uist. Nearer to home, one of the Little Egrets was still on Loch Hallan this afternoon.
