Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:55-10:15
Weather: Wind SW f4, initially misty slowly improving. Fine drizzle at times. Temp 14C.

A 3+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 2 Storm Petrels (S), 7 Fulmars (4S 3N), 1 Sooty Shearwater (S), 156 Manx Shearwaters (S), 1 *Balearic Shearwater* (S), 125 Gannets (119S 6N), 9 Kittiwakes (S), 20 Common Terns (S), 2 Great Skuas (S), 5 Guillemots (S), 21 Razorbills (S), 7 Puffins (S), and 24 auk sp (10S 14N).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 4, Common Buzzard 1, Little Tern 2, Arctic Tern 35, Raven 2, Sand Martin 4, Wheatear 1 and Pied Wagtail 2

Seawatching off the west side of Vatersay from midday until 3.30pm produced 525 Puffins, 2 Storm Petrels, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 343 Manx Shearwaters, 10 Great Skuas, I Arctic Skua and a flock of 6 Whimbrel heading south.
