The female type Velvet Scoter was again off shore this morning

Counting period: 08:25 - 11:25
Weather: Wind SSW F8 gust F10 easing to F5-6, rain at first. 8/8 cloud, temp 10.6 falling to 8.7C

A 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 61 Eider (S), 64 Long-tailed Duck (62S 2N), 4 Red-breasted Mergansers (S), 102 Red-throated Divers (S), 54 Great Northern Divers (S), 1 Slavonian Grebe (S), 11 Gannets (S), 16 Shag (N), 1 Cormorant (N), 3 Kittwakes (S), 1 Guillemot (S), 1 Razorbill (S) and 1 Black Guillemot (S)
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 5, Wigeon 5, Tufted Duck 10, Goldeneye 1, Cormorant 12 and Hen Harrier 1
