A Barnacle Goose was amongst the Greylags earlier today

A Lapland Bunting, Pectoral Sandpiper and Wood Sandpiper were seen there this morning
Balranald, North Uist
Two Lapland Buntings were seen on the track across the reserve while 25 Black-tailed Godwits were near the visitors centre. Six Great Northern Divers and a Storm petrel were seen at sea from Aird an Runair
Balgarva, South Uist
A juvenile Little Stint and three Curlew Sandpipers were there this evening
Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:40-12:05
Weather: Near calm, clear and sunny 18C. Some thin high cloud. Some light sea mist.
A3+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Great Northern Divers (S), 40 Gannets (S), and 1 Golden Plover (S- in off the sea).
Also present in the area were ***Blue-winged Teal*** 1, Teal 10, Tufted Duck 1, Red-breasted Merganser 1, Common Buzzard 1, Peregrine 1, Raven 9, Skylark 35, Wheatear 1, Pied Wagtail 8, Meadow Pipit 20, Rock Pipit 2, Twite 3, Linnet 70 and Lapland Bunting 1
The ***Blue-winged Teal*** was found on Loch Ardvule, the first to be seen on South Uist since 2009. 70 Linnets is a very high count for the area.
