News from Ness:-

At around (1140) today a Pectoral Sandpiper was found in a flock of Golden Plover (and one Grey Plover) which dropped in to the loch in front of the hide. The bird remained on the lochside and was still there into the afternoon. (Grey Plover is much scarcer in Ness than Pectoral Sandpiper).
