There are now 3 Greenshank on Loch Hallan and 6 Whimbrel on the beach at Askernish. A Corncrake was still calling on the golf course by the 1st fairway. The long staying Iceland Gull is still finding Kildonan to it's liking

Not much to report from Barra in the past few days apart from a pair of house martins that are nesting at Eoligarry. There's been up to 8 birds around the island at times over the spring and early summer but in recent weeks most of the sightings have been at the north end of the island, so it wasn't a big surprise to find a nest tucked under the eves of a house there.

Mainly gulls on the WEBs count at Ardivachar, including a Glaucous. Waders were mostly Oystercatchers with a nice party of 140 Sanderlings and 3 Turnstones.
