How rare is Shoveler on Barra, has Stock Dove been seen on Harris, does Dotterel occur on Benbecula in the autumn, and how common is Blue Tit on North Uist? Well, fret no longer! Always Birding
A very noticable influx of wildfowl especially mallard, teal and tufted duck around Askernish today, probably a result of the cold weather on the mainland. Also new today were 70+ Twite and 40+ Skylark on the machair. The Chiffchaff was still in the township and a Slavonian Grebe was just offshore at the beach, a non too regular sight.
