Four Snow Buntings were on the beach early afternoon

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:10-11:30
Weather: Wind SW f5-6, 8/8 cloud, very dull, a few light showers. Temp 9c.

A 3+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Wigeon (S), 3 Eider (S), 11 Long-tailed Duck (S), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 22 Red-throated Divers (19S 3N), 1 Black-throated Diver (S), 3 Great Northern Divers (2S 1N), 2 Sooty Shearwaters (S), 26 Gannets (25S 1N), 26 Shag (2S 24N), 2 Cormorants (N), 5 Kittiwakes (4S 1N), 5 Common Gulls (S) and 1 auk sp.
Also present in the area were Gadwall 2, Wigeon 37, Mallard 83, Tufted Duck 12, Long-tailed Duck 1, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 3, Cormorant 17, Golden Eagle 1, Common Buzzard 1, Lapwing 54, Glaucous Gull [juvenile] 1 and Peregrine 1
