Circa 30 Black-tailed Godwits were on the machair today

61 Black-tailed Godwits were on the machair this morning

Counting period: 06:25 - 09:10
Weather: Wind SSE F3 veering S F5-6, 8/8 cloud, dull with rain throughout watch. Temp 10.5C.
A near 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 2 Storm Petrels (S), 46 Fulmars (14S 32N), 4 Manx Shearwaters (N), 280 Gannets (244S 36N), 1 Cormorant (S), 3 Arctic Terns (S) and 1 Meadow Pipit (S - struggled in off the sea)
Also present in the area were Mute Swan 1, Mallard 60, Curlew 3, Knot 1, Razorbill 3 and Pied Wagtail 1
