Red-throated Diver passage probably continued after John's seawatch as 17 passed Aird an Runair, North Uist in one hour (11.40-12.40 hours). Also three Manx Shearwaters, two Great Northern Divers and a Great Skua. Day counts of over 100 Red-throated Divers passing headlands occur occasionally in September (once over 200).

Earlier as I was about to leave a Clachan-a-Luib garden a possible Common Rosefinch flew up from some tall vegetation. It disappeared before I could get my bins on it - I stayed around for a while and made a later visit but to no avail.
