A Glaucous Gull was at Bayhead in the early afternoon. This was a different bird from the summering Loch Sandary one.

During heavy cloud/showers there was a S movement of waders over Carinish. At 17.10 hours a very vocal flock of 46 Redshank passed over quite high up. About half an hour or so before this a fairly large flock of unidentified waders also passed over.

There was no sign of the White-rumped Sandpiper at Baleshare at high tide but a Curlew Sandpiper was new (per Terry Easter).
