Outer Hebrides / Western Isles bird sightings for today, 3rd June 2018. Updated throughout the day

Aird an Runair, North Uist
A juvenile Glaucous Gull and a juvenile Iceland Gull were there around midday. A male White Wagtail was also present

Loch Mor, Benbecula
2 male Ruff were there today

Stoneybridge, South Uist
A 2CY Iceland Gull was seen there today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist

Weather: Wind ENE F4, early mist and cloud giving way to sunny conditions. Temp 11.9 - 12.9C

A 2.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 1 Storm Petrel (S), 6 Manx Shearwaters (S), 25 Gannets (3S 22N), 31 Kittiwakes (8S 23N), 2 Guillemots (N), 1 Razorbill (N) and 32 auk sp (14S 18N).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 8, Eider 27, Great Northern Diver 2, Curlew 1,Curlew Sandpiper 1, Sanderling 32, Dunlin 45, Black-headed Gull 20, Great Black-backed Gull 4, Iceland Gull [2CY] 1, Lesser Black-backed Gull 1, Arctic Tern 15, Sand Martin 2, Wheatear 1 and Pied Wagtail 2
