On Barra, 3 Iceland gulls and the long-staying ringed glaucous gull were at Ardveenish this morning. Nearby 11 slavonian grebes were off Ardmhor ferry terminal. 14 snow buntings were still by the airport buildings and another was heard calling as it flew south over Ardmhor. An impressive raft of 47 black-throated divers were off the east side of Vatersay in near-perfect viewing conditions. About 110 long-tailed ducks were off Craigston and the 2 Greenland white-fronted geese were on Loch an Duin at dusk.
