100+ Common Scoters and 50 Long-tailed Ducks were there today
Loch Sandary, North Uist
The drake *Green-winged Teal* was again seen on the loch
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:40 - 10:50
Weather: Wind S F4, 8/8 cloud, dull. Temp 7.2C
A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 30 Eider (29S 1N), 4 Long-tailed Duck (S), 4 Red-breasted merganser (3S 1N), 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Black-throated Diver (S), 2 Great Northern Divers (S), 4 Gannets (S), 78 Shag (2S 76N), 7 Cormorants (S), 8 Oystercatchers (S) and 1 Razorbill (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 71, Wigeon 106, Teal 7, Great Northern Diver 3, Common Buzzard 1, Lapwing 100, Snipe 1, Common Gull 250 and Hooded Crow 4
