Portvoller, Isle of Lewis
A Yellow-browed Warbler was seen there today. Another plus a blackcap was nearby at Sheshader

Loch Paible, North Uist
350 Barnacle Geese were at Loch Paible and a Lapland Bunting, Yellow-browed Warbler were in the area. A Redstart was at Paiblesgarry

Loch Sandary, North Uist
A Yellow-browed Warbler was by the loch and a further six plus a Blackcap were at Knockintorran

Carinish, North Uist
5 Yellow-browed Warblers were at there this morning. Six Bramblings were seen later and 11 Whooper Swans flew south. Two Yellow-browed warblers were nearby at Claddach Baleshare.

Baleshare, North Uist
A Yellow-browed Warbler was seen there and 130 Barnacle Geese were off Lag Gorm

Lochmaddy, North Uist
9+ Yellow-browed Warblers, a Blackcap, 10 Bramblings and 50 Redwings were seen there today

Langass, North Uist
A Common Crossbill, seven Redwings, a Chiffchaff, Jack Snipe and six Siskins were seen there today

Clachan a Luib
A Yellow-browed Warbler and 25 Redwings were seen there today

Locheport, North Uist
Eight Yellow-browed Warblers and a Chiffchaff were there plus a Common Repoll was at Sidinish

Balgarva, South Uist
A Great Crested Grebe was offshore at high tide this morning. and a Spotted Redshank was there in the evening. A Yellow-browed Warbler was nearby at Kilaulay. 12 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and five Barnacles were later seen on the mud flats opposite Hebridean Jewellery

Stinky Bay, Benbecula
Seven Black-tailed Godwit and a Knot were there early afternoon

Borve, Benbecula
Two Ruff were in fields by Borve Castle with circa 60 Snipe

Carnan, South Uist
Two Yellow-browed Warblers, a Hawfinch and four Brambling were in a garden there

West Gerinish, South Uist
An *American Golden Plover* was at the south-west corner of Loch Bee early afternoon

Howmore, South Uist
Two Yellow-browed Warblers were there this morning

Grogarry, South Uist
Two Yellow-browed Warblers and 17 Whooper Swans were there today

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
A Curlew Sandpiper was there today and 25 Barnacle Geese flew south

Askernish, South Uist
A Pied Flycatcher, two Yellow-browed Warbler and a Willow Warbler were in the township this morning

South Glendale, South Uist
A Yellow-browed Warbler and four Bramblings were in a garden there

Ardmhor Plantation, Barra
Two Yellow-browed Warblers and four Crossbill at Ardmhor.

Castlebay, Barra
A Fieldfare was seen at the football pitch early morning

4 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Chiffchaff, 2 Brambling and 6 Siskin were at North Locheynort this morning and 3 Yellow-browed Warblers were still at South Locheynort. A single Yellow-browed Warbler was at Snishival Plantation while 7 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler were at Druidibeg.

3 yellow-browed warblers in my garden today with still a blackcap and spotted flycatcher. Also a 12 redwings and a brambling.. Also a finch roost has built up in the garden in te last couple of days with the usual goldfinches increasing from 10-15 to to c50 with c30 linnets and 10 greenfinches.

Barra.
Around 50 Yellow-browed Warblers, perhaps more, still around the island today. I even heard one giving a few bursts of song this morning. A flock of 10 Crossbills dropped in at Ardmhor where there was also a Pied Flycatcher. Another Pied Fly was new at Creachan.

A calm dry day with a sunny afternoon brought out a mixed bag of birds no doubt recovering from the weekend’s dreadful weather.

Whooper Swan – 4 dropped in at Loch Stiapavat (12.30) and later flew on south at (15.55)
Jack Snipe – 3 on The Butt in marshy areas
Greenland Wheatear – one on the lighthouse wall (early morning)
Yellow-browed Warbler – one in gardens in Port of Ness and two in South Dell gardens
Chiffchaff – one in Port of Ness and two in South Dell
Willow Warbler – two in South Dell
Blackcap – two in Port of Ness and four in South Dell
Garden Warbler – one in South Dell
Barred Warbler – one in South Dell
Spotted Flycatcher – one in Port of Ness
Pied Flycatcher – two in Port of Ness
Brambling – one in South Dell
