Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 6th April 2021. Updated throughout the day

Baleshare, North Uist
A juvenile Glaucous Gull was seen there this afternoon and the drake Scaup was still to be found on Loch Mor.

North Ford, North Uist
A Great Skua was off Carinish this morning. Three Pink-feet were also there this afternoon

Loch Mor, Benbecula
74 White-fronted Geese and six Pink-footed Geese were there today

Loch Bee, South Uist
180 White-fronted Geese were on the west side of the loch and a Scaup was there this evening. 43 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby at Loch an t-Saile.

South Glendale, South Uist
A male Siskin was in a garden there

The colour ringed Oystercatcher found and reported on 02-April-2021 was originally ringed in Dublin Bay, details of which can be found here
