The Wood Sandpiper was still present this morning.

Aird an Runair, North Uist
A Pomerine skua flew south early this morning while 3 Leach's Petrels, 46 Pale-bellied Brent Geese and circa 12 Whimbrel flew south early in the afternoon.

Ormiclate, South Uist
2 *Buff-breasted Sandpipers* still on the machair along with 3 Ruff.

Kildonan, South Uist
7 Ruff and 30 Black-tailed Godwits seen

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A 3.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 31 Pale-bellied Brent Geese (S), 12 Common Scoter (S), 4 Red-throated Divers (S), 4 Great Northern Divers (S), 2 Leach's Petrel (S), 5 Fulmars (S), 1 Sooty Shearwater (S), 32 Manx Shearwaters (S), 141 Gannets (128S 13N), 6 Shag (4S 2N), 1 Cormorant (S), 8 Whimbrel (S), 6 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Guillemot (S), 3 Razorbills (S), and 1 Black Guillemot (S). Also present in the area were 2 Ruff and 47 Redshank

After I’d informed everyone of the Buff-breasted Sandpipers yesterday afternoon, I found a Pied Flycatcher in a local garden (scarce up here – average about one per annum!).

In a 2.5 hour seawatch this morning the following were seen: 17 Wigeon (S), 13 (6 ♂♂) Common Scoter (S), 6 Red-throated Divers (S), 2 Great Northern Divers (S), 17 Fulmars (S), a possible Leach's Petrel (S), 239 Manx Shearwaters (221 S, 18 N), 75 Gannets (34 S including 10 juveniles, 41 N), 22 Shag (S), 6 Sanderling (S); 1 Pomarine Skua (S), 3 Great Skuas (2 S, 1 N), 2 Kittiwakes (S) and 10 Guillemots/Razorbills (S).
