A Curlew Sandpiper was seen there today

A Pink-footed Goose reported to be there today

Carinish, North Uist
Late news of a *Barn Owl* seen there yesterday evening

Ardivachar, South Uist
A female "flava" type Yellow Wagtail was seen on the beach today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:05 - 08:00
Weather: Wind NNW F0-1, light, high cloud with sunny spells. Temp 11.6 - 12.3C.

A near two hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Red-throated Divers (N), 5 Fulmars (N), 1 Manx Shearwater (N), 141 Gannets (56S 85N), 7 Kittiwakes (5S 2N), 1 Great Skua (S), 21 Puffins (4S 17N) and 113 auk sp (46S 67N).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 10, Eider 12, Great Northern Diver 11, Whimbrel 1, Sanderling 3, Dunlin 32, Arctic Tern 12, Sand Martin 2, Pied Wagtail 1, Meadow Pipit 2 and Twite 1. 2 Whimbrel were seen there early afternoon

Always Birding
Here at Askernish, a Spotted Flycatcher was in the township and a pair of Siskin were visiting my feeders. Also two summer plumage Black-tailed Godwits were on Loch Hallan early afternoon.

North Uist: yesterday Terry Easter saw a Wood Sandpiper on Loch na Paisg, and today Nicholas Watts photographed a Grasshopper Warbler at Balemore.
