The Quail was heard calling there again today, in the morning and afternoon. 6 Whimbrel were nearby on the machair by Ness cemetery

A Quail was heard calling by the school house early afternoon

Loch Paible, North Uist
The Little Stint, 2 Curlew Sandpipers and 3 Black-tailed Godwits were on pools to the south end of the loch early morning. The 2CY Glaucous Gull was on the beach nearby and an Iceland Gull was there late evening

Loch Sandary, North Uist
The 2CY Glaucous Gull was seen at the east end of the loch early afternoon

Borve, Benbecula
A Quail was heard calling by Borve Guest House this morning. A drake Garganey was nearby on Coot Loch

Carnan, South Uist
A Common Redpoll was visiting a garden there

Howmore, South Uist
2 Swifts were seen there today

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
A Curlew Sandpiper was seen on the beach in south bay this morning. A Whimbrel was also in the area. 2 Curlew Sandpipers were seen on the beach by the car park in the evening

Loch Tangusdale, Barra
A Swift and a House Martin were seen there today
