• When here in the Outer Hebrides and looking at a bird, have you ever wondered how rare it is? The status of all species can vary enormously from island to island. How rare is Shoveler on Barra, has Stock Dove been seen on Harris, does Dotterel occur on Benbecula in the autumn, and how common is Blue Tit on North Uist? Well, fret no longer! The Status and Distribution of birds here on the Outer Hebrides has been completely updated and summarised for every species and each of the main islands and outliers. The Decca Monday - Talk and Supper

7pm - Talk £2 (includes a soft drink)

Various informal talks by local people about Ness - the birdlife, the machair, peat, archaeology, climate and crofting. A chance to find out more about this unique place.

Current information about speakers and the subjects of the talk programme will be on The Decca Facebook page and on their website at www.thedecca.co.uk or just phone and ask 01851 810571

Supper at 7.30pm is optional and costs £20 (2 courses) or £25 (3 courses) - supper choices to be booked in advance.

It would be very useful if you could let The Decca know in advance even if you are just coming to the talk.
