How rare is Shoveler on Barra, has Stock Dove been seen on Harris, does Dotterel occur on Benbecula in the autumn, and how common is Blue Tit on North Uist? Well, fret no longer! Barra.
An Iceland Gull was flying over Bolnabodach as I drove to work this morning. There's clearly a small movement of Crossbills at the moment. I heard at least 4 flying south during the day. There's also a few Siskins on the move including 1 over Brevig, 3 over Northbay and 2 over Ardmhor, all heading north.
