On Barra there was another Hawfinch at Ardmhor plantation this morning. I was standing under a tree watching 2 Spotted Flycatchers where it flew in and briefly landed on a branch about 2 feet above my head, before flying off through the canopy. There were at least 3 Siskins there too. At Northbay there was a Tree Pipit, 3 Siskins, 2 House Martins and the long-staying Great Tit. A Spotted Flycatcher was at Eoligarry. 2 House Martins were at Castlebay and at least 1 was around Brevig.
The first juvenile House Sparrows appeared in my garden 2 days ago and juvenile Goldcrests were out of their nest at Northbay yesterday.

40+ Swallows circling around the house here at Askernish late this evening, probably looking for somewhere to roost for the night
