A 2CY Glaucous Gull was on the island this morning

Kildonan, South Uist
Two Snow Buntings were on the beach between Kildonan and Bornish this afternoon

Counting period: 08:05-10:50
Weather: Wind W backing WSW, initially 8/8 cloud with occasional light showers, sunny spells later. Temp 9C

A near 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 5 Common Scoter [2 males] (S), 2 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 6 Red-throated Divers (S), 6 Great Northern Divers (S), 21 Gannets (S), 21 Shag (6S 15N), 73 Kittiwakes (S), 6 Great Black-backed Gulls (S), 1 Iceland Gull [juvenile] (S), 1 Guillemot (S) and 5 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 37, Mallard 115, Tufted Duck 18, Red-throated Diver 1, Great Northern Diver 2, Cormorant 12, Purple Sandpiper 6, Redshank 9, Black-headed Gull 1, Hooded Crow 4, Raven 4, Twite 90 and Linnet 2
