Butt of Lewis
Six Sooty Shearwaters flew past The Butt today

Steinis, Isle of Lewis
25 Black-tailed Godwits and 18 Knot were seen there today

Loch Paible, North Uist
A ***Baird's Sandpiper*** Curlew Sandpiper and two Stint were present early afternoon and seen again late evening on the west side of the loch

Loch Bee, South Uist
Four Little Stint were in the south-west corner late morning

Traigh Mhor, Barra
A juvenile Curlew Sandpiper was seen there today

4 Merlins south over Eoligarry in the first hour of daylight. A seawatch from Brevig this afternoon produced 1 Long-tailed Skua, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, c40 Manx Shearwaters, 1 Storm Petrel and an impressive 38 Great Skuas all going south.
 
A colour ringed Sanderling seen recently at Gress, Lewis was originally ringed in Sanday, Orkney in June 2014, a duration of 2669 days
