The *Red-breasted Flycatcher* was still present today -See Bruce's post below

Borve, Berneray
The Snow Goose was again near the community hall on and the *Common Crane*was nearby on the machair. A Pink-footed Goose and a Chiffchaff was also on the island.

Hougharry, North Uist
3 Pink-footed Geese were seen today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A two hour seawatch this morning produced 8 Pink-footed Geese (S), 3 Eider (N), 6 Red-throated Divers (5S 1N), 5 Great Northern Divers (4S 1N), 112 Gannet (34S 78N), 2 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Guillemot (N), 5 Razorbill (N) and 10 auk sp (2S 8N). 2 Red-throated Divers and 12 Bar-tailed Godwits were also in the area.

There was a large arrival of redwings on Barra today; easily a thousand or more birds around the island plus c30 bramblings. Also a common redstart, siskin and 3+ blackcaps were at Glen this afternoon. The red-breasted flycatcher was showing well at Ardmhor and the barred warbler was seen again at Castlebay.

At Carinish, North Uist a skein of some 250 Barnacle Geese flew S (08.50 hours), at least 100 Redwings were present and at least one Brambling.
_DSC0621.JPG Although rather a poor shot of the Loch Grogary American Wigeon the white on axillaries and median underwing-coverts can be made out.
