The Rose-coloured Starling was present again today

Griminish Point, North Uist
A Sooty Shearwater flew west this afternoon. Also 1,000's of Manx Shearwaters seen feeding off-shore

Loch Sandary, North Uist
The 3CY Glaucous Gull was seen there again today

Loch Bee South Uist
The *Spoonbill* was seen on the west shore today

Lochboisedale, South Uist
A Sooty Shearwater was seen from the Lochboisedale - Mallaig ferry this morning

Cleat, Barra
A **Cory's Shearwater** flew past at 12:55, only the second July record

Counting period: 06:00-10:05
Weather: Wind WSW f5-6, mix of sunny periods and some cloud and light showers. Temp12C.

A four hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Great Northern Diver (N), 3 Storm Petrels (S), 28 Fulmars (22, 6), 461 Manx Shearwaters (435S 26N), 1 *Balearic Shearwater* (S at 06:20) 303 Gannets (267S 36N), 28 Black-tailed Godwits (S), 6 Turnstone (S), 11 Sanderling (S), 3 Kittiwakes (S), 3 Great Skuas (S), 1 Guillemot (S), 44 Razorbills (S), and 33 auk sp (28S 5N)
Also present in the area were White-tailed Eagle 1, Common Buzzard 1, Little Tern 4 and Arctic Tern 78

A 4 hour seawatch off the west side of Vatersay this morning produced a single Sooty Shearwater, 2 Storm Petrels, c300 Kittiwakes, c400 Manx Shearwaters, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 Red-throated Diver and many hundreds of auks. A few waders were heading south offshore including 2 flocks of Redshank totalling 60 birds, 22 Whimbrel in 4 flocks, 21 Sanderling in 3 flocks and 2 Dunlin.
