Whooper Swan : 4 (a family party) flew N-S (am)
Blackcap – female
Chiffchaff – one
Brambling – flock of 9
Fieldfare – 6 dropped in (0850)

Note: Ian and Natalie Ward had a really good cetacean watch today too with the following being seen at Tiumpan Head (9.00 am – 6.00 pm): Humpback Whale – 2, Fin Whale – 1, Minke Whale – 3, White-beaked Dolphin – numerous, Common Dolphin – smaller numbers, Risso’s Dolphin – smaller numbers, Blue Fin Tuna – 8-10 hunting off the lighthouse for most of the day.

Pec showing well at LA2 on the Range today.

2 blackcap, chiffchaff, 10 brambling and 20 fieldfare in my garden this morning.

Y-b warbler, 2 blackcap, 2 chiffchaffs and 4 siskin at North Loch Eynort

3 blackcaps, Siberian type chiffchaff (not calllng), lesser whitethroat and 6 brambling at Snishival Plantation.
