A near 3 hour seawatch this morning produced 4 Red-throated Divers (3S 1N), 3 Storm Petrels, (S), 1 Fulmar (S), 4 Sooty Shearwaters (S), 407 Manx Shearwaters (S), 72 Gannets (68S 4N), 2 Shag (1S 1N), 6 Kittiwakes (5S 1N), 1 Black Guillemot (S), and 6 Arctic Terns (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 12, Tufted Duck 2, Eider 12, Merlin 1, Peregrine 1

A two and a half hour seawatch this afternoon produced 23 Sooty Shearwaters, c2000 Manx Shearwaters, 7 Arctic Terns, 7 Whimbrel and a single Great Skua going south.

6 Black-tailed Godwits, a Whimbrel and 32 Snipe on newly mown fields in Askernish plus a noticable increase in Skylarks and Meadow Pipits were our first real signs of autumn migration
