Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 19th September 2020. Updated throughout the day

Langass Lodge, North Uist
A Common Crossbill and a Blackcap were seen there this morning

Balgarva, South Uist
A Little Stint and one Curlew Sandpiper were there today

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
The ***Blue-winged Teal*** still present on Loch Ardvule this morning. The Lapland Bunting also showed briefly on the track to the point

Barra.
There was an adult male Redstart at Brevig this morning along with a Grey Wagtail. Nearby a Garden Warbler was still at Creachan. A Common Whitethroat was at Glen plus a Common Redpoll. At Northbay a Pied Flycatcher and Lesser Whitethroat were both present for their second day. A Siskin was at Castlebay.
