A Fulmar and a Great Northern Diver were the only casualties noted during the 2nd leg of RSPB Beached Bird Survey on Baleshare beach, North Uist. The Great Northern Diver was first noted on February 7th. It makes a change to see Golden Eagle and not White-tailed Eagle on the W side and the same subadult that was present at the S end of Eachkamish a few days previously was on the dunes at the N end of Lag Gorm and later with prey on the saltings.
