"The number of Pink-footed Geese continues to drop as birds leave, while Whooper Swans, Black-tailed Godwit and Golden Plover numbers rose today. The drake Green-winged Teal (and his friend) were seen in the morning but not later."

- Green-winged Teal with accompanying duck teal sp. seen here in the morning
- Whooper Swans – six arrived in late morning; only two remained this evening
- Barnacle Geese – 13 in fields opposite the hide may well have been the 13 seen yesterday at the Butt
- Pink-footed Geese – 75 this morning were down to 45 this evening
- Golden Plover – 1,200 present all day (largest no. this spring)
- Black-tailed Godwit – 49 this morning were not seen after (09.00)
