Scolpaig, North Uist
A single Snow Bunting was seen there today

Baleshare, North Uist
Three juvenile Glaucous Gulls were on the island today

Eochar, South Uist
3+ Lapland Buntings and 2 Snow Buntings were seen on the machair

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:40-10:50
Weather: Wind W f3, 4/8 cloud though initially dull as low cloud to S screening the sun. Temp 7c.

A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 2 Eider (N), 1 Long-tailed Duck (S), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (N), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 1 Gannet (N) and 27 Shag (5S 22N).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 21, Teal 3, Tufted Duck 8, Cormorant 17, Common Buzzard 1, Lapwing 16, Ringed Plover 45, Curlew 5, Sanderling 78, Dunlin 26, Purple Sandpiper 1 and Pied Wagtail 1

On Ardivachar machair and increased flock of twites in excess or 700, inclusive of some skylarks and pipits. At range 2, 66 golden plovers (pretty scarce overwintering this winter).
At North Bay, c900 bar-tailed godwits, 300 sanderlings and 150 ringed plovers, (a few oystercatchers but no redshanks) plus a single male long-tailed duck.
