Loch Mor, Benbecula
A *Little Egret* was again present on the loch

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
A two hour seawatch this morning produced 6 Eider (3S 3N), 6 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 1 Goldeneye (S), 4 Red-throated Divers (S), 4 Great Northern Divers (S), 2 Fulmars (S), 6 Gannets (S), 23 Shag (1S 22N), 29 Kittiwakes (S), 47 Common Gulls (S) and 3 Razorbills (S). Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 66, Shelduck 2, Wigeon 12, Tufted Duck 8, Cormorant 21, Bar-tailed Godwit 12, Curlew 68, Common Gull 140, Great Black-backed Gull 10, Rock Dove 33, Peregrine 1, Rock Pipit 2

The spreading of seaweed as fertiliser on the machair always attracts the birds as it was today at Kildonan. Amongst the 500+ Starlings, 200+ Lapwings and 600+ gulls was a juvenile Glaucous Gull
