Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 28th November 2019. Updated throughout the day

Tiumpan Head, Isle of Lewis
The 2CY Glaucous Gull was again seen there. A single Snow Bunting was also present

Balranald, North Uist
70 Snow Buntings and an Iceland Gull were seen on the reserve today

Knockintorran, North Uist
The Snow Goose was seen there again today

Clachan, South Uist
The Little Egret was again at the north end of Loch Bee this morning

OH Bird Recorder
A trip to Benbecula the highlights of which were 2 Pink-footed Geese and 1 Greenland Whitefront with all the Greylags at Torlum. A Little Egret was seen near Loch Bee not far from the Ardnamonie turning. At Coot Loch there were 14 Gadwall. A male Hen Harrier was disturbing the birds at Ardivachar.
