Loch Stiapabhat, Isle of Lewis
A *Glossy Ibis* was seen there briefly this morning. The five *Ring-necked Ducks* were also reported as being present again as was two Cananda Geese

Loch Branahuie, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
A *Ring-necked Duck* was there this afternoon

Sound of Taransay, Isle of Harris
40 Common Scoter, 50 Eider and an Arctic Skua were there today

A juvenile Long-tailed Skua and 5 Storm Petrels were seen "at sea" from the Uig - Tarbet ferry this morning

Balranald, North Uist
A Pectoral Sandpiper, a 2CY Glaucous Gull, Snow Bunting and c50 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were there this morning

West Gerinish, South Uist
6 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, 2 Little Stints, 100+ Redshank and 400+ Wigeon were seen in the southwest corner of Loch Bee

Druidibeg plantation, South Uist
A Willow Warbler was there today

Snishival, plantation, South Uist
A Red-breasted Flycatcher and a Chiffchaff were there this afternoon

Counting period: 07:35-11:15
Weather: Wind SSW f 4-7, mix of sunny spells and heavy showers. Temp 10 - 11c.

A near 4 hour seawatch this morning produced 261 Pale-bellied Brent Geese (S), 1 Eider (N), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 2 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 279 Gannets (S), 10 Shag (N), 2 Cormorants (S), 9 Kittiwakes (S), 6 Guillemots (S), 35 Razorbills (S), 2 Black Guillemots (S), and 25 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 12, Wigeon 5, Tufted Duck 5, Red-throated Diver 1, Shag 12, Cormorant 15, Whimbrel 1, Curlew 2, Wheatear 1, Pied Wagtail 1

Barra.
137 Pale-bellied Brents flew SE through the Sound of Barra late morning. There were 34 on Traigh Mhor and 17 at Caolas, Vatersay. They seem to have had a good breeding season judging by the number of juveniles among the grounded flocks.
