Hirta, St Kilda
A Greenland White-fronted, Barnacle and Greylag Goose were in the village today

Baleshare, North Uist
A Jack Snipe was at Lag Gorm today

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 08:30 - 10:05
Weather: Wind ESE F 3-4, 8/8 cloud, very dull with increasing rain. Temp 8C.

A 1+ hour seawatch this morning produced 4 Eider (S), 4 Long-tailed Ducks (3S 1N), 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 8 Red-throated Divers (7S 1N), 5 Gannets (S), 62 Shag (2S 60N), 1 Cormorant (S) and 1 Guillemot(S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 23, Wigeon 15, Teal 2, Tufted Duck 11, Red-breasted Merganser 2, Red-throated Diver 2, Great Northern Diver 2, Common Buzzard 1

News from Andrew:-

02/12 - drake *ring-necked duck* on Loch Fada Benbecula this afternoon; Also still 14 gadwall, 10 shoveler and 4 coots in total Coot Loch/Loch Fada.

42 long-tailed duck in Stinky Bay.

01/12 – 2 glaucous gulls (2nd W & Juv/1st w) Between Stoneybridge & Peninerine. 20 Snow bunting at Peninerine. Also at least 6 different WTEs on west side of central SU yesterday.

Still 2 bramblings and 1 blackcap in my garden in Bornish and a fieldfare on 1 Dec (also seen late Nov).

On Barra today the small Canada Goose was on the machair at Allasdale and a Coot was new in on Loch Tangasdale.
