The Canada Goose and Cackling Goose were again noted this morning in the area between Loch nam Feithean, North Uist and Traigh lar. There were four Pintail on the loch and 10 Little Grebes on nearby Loch na Reivil. This is a good winter count for this site.

On Barra this afternoon there was a juvenile Iceland Gull on the beach at Allasadale. The 3rd winter Glaucous Gull was still at Traigh Mhor as were 9 Pale-bellied Brent Geese. The White-billed Diver was still off Ardmhor though distant as always.
