Wet again for my second consecutive visit to Traigh Leathann, North Uist. The pale-headed adult White-tailed Eagle was sat on the saltings and flew off towards Kirkibost Island so I was not expecting much but three Buff-breasted Sandpipers now present (following two on 3rd).

Another visit in the afternoon when sunny and the number had risen to four (a minimum of five were present last year on Baleshare between 9th and 29th September).

A Yellow Wagtail flew south over Brevig at 4pm today, otherwise there's precious little in the way of migrant passerines on Barra at present apart from a handful of Blackcaps and Willow Warblers.
