Western Isles / Outer Hebrides bird sightings for today, 6th October 2021. Updated throughout the day

Hirta, St Kilda
The ***Buff-bellied Pipit*** was seen there again today. A Chiffchaff, Slavonian Grebe, Long-tailed Duck, four Snow Buntings and two Brent Geese were also on the island

Butt of Lewis
11 Snow Buntings were seen near the lighthouse today

Tolsta Chaolais, Isle of Lewis
A Blue Tit was visiting a garden there

Balgarva, South Uist
A Snow Bunting was seen there today

Ardivachar, South Uist
116 Black-tailed Godwits werethere today

3+ Yellow-browed Warblers around the island today plus the Barred Warbler still at Nask and 2 Sooty Shearwaters past Brevig.
