Hirta, St Kilda
A Black Redstart was seen there today. A Pomarine Skua was seen at sea five miles east of the island

Butt of Lewis
Two Rose-coloured Starlings were seen on the cliffs to the west of the lighthouse

Minish, North Uist
The *Great White Egret* was seen this afternoon at Loch Ialaidh, but said to "be skittish"

Rubha Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:30-10:20
Weather: Wind S f 4-6, 8/8 cloud, light drizzle for much of watch. Murky at sea. Temp 12-13 c

A near 4 hour seawatch produced 19 Storm Petrels (S), 7 Fulmars (S), 59 Manx Shearwaters (S), 117 Gannets (111S 6N), 2 Shag (N), 3 Cormorants (N), 2 Black-headed Gulls (S), 3 Great Skuas (S), 1 Arctic Skua (S), 1 Guillemot (S), 3 Razorbills (S) and 61 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 12, Tufted Duck 7, Ringed Plover 7, Turnstone 2, Sanderling 28, Dunlin 6, Little Tern 6, Arctic Tern, Pied Wagtail 1 and Common Seal 9
 
Top
