Barra.

A big movement of Meadow Pipits over the island today, easily a thousand or more heading north-east into the headwind.

Pec sand, little stint and 2 curlew sands in the south bay at Ardvule this eve. Plus 2 pec sands mobile on the machair at Bornish initially with the golden plover flock roosting between the loch and the track.

Is it just me or does that St Kilda brent goose look a bit dark for a pale bellied?

Hi Andrew, yes, I believe it's a dark-bellied - only the second one for St. Kilda i think.
