Always Birding
Many more waders in evidence today with most resting and looking like new arrivals. On South Ford there were 30 Grey Plover, 6 Knot, 200+ Ringed Plover, and 500+ Dunlin, while in North Bay 150+ Bar-tailed Godwits were resting on the tideline. Black-tailed Godwits were present on newly cut fields with 28 at Ardivachar, 14 at Clachan and 12 at Ardkenneth. 200+ Golden Plover and another 8 Black-tailed Godwits were on The Range.

Single Sooty Shearwater and 2 Storm Petrels south past Brevig. A steady trickle of Lesser Black-backed Gulls were again passing south over the island.
