Ardivachar Point, South Uist
The adult *** Baird's Sandpiper*** was still present this morning
Loch Bee, South Uist
Circa 50 Black-tailed Godwits were at the north end of loch today
Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
3 juvenile Long-tailed Tits were seen in amongst a mixed flock (mainly Coal Tits) in the Willowglen area today indicating a small breeding population in the castle grounds
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:10 - 10:15
Weather: Wind SSW F4, 8/8 cloud, dull with some mist and drizzle off sea from 0910hrs. Temp 14C.
A 4+ hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 82 Storm Petrels (S), 26 Fulmars (S), 267 Manx Shearwaters (S), 252 Gannets (241S 11N), 1 Shag (N), 6 Kittiwakes (5S 1N), 13 Arctic Terns (S), 3 Great Skuas (S), 1 Arctic Skua (S), and 4 Black Guillemots (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 110, Mallard 44, Cormorant 9, Whimbrel 1, Ruff 2, Curlew 2, Snipe 4, Lesser Black-backed Gull 4, Pied Wagtail 5 and Meadow Pipit 6
