70 Pink-footed Geese were seen there today

Six Glaucous Gulls were on the flooded area at the north end of Eachkamish

A juvenile Glaucous Gull was seen going to roost onthe North Ford this evening

Counting period: 09:10 - 10:30
Weather: Mix of cloud and sunny spells, occasional rain

A 1+ hour seawatch this morning produced 6 Eider (S), 1 Red-throated Diver (S), 1 Great Northern Diver (S), 8 Gannets (3S 5N), 7 Shag (N), 8 Cormorants (N) and 2 Kittiwakes (S).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 36, Wigeon 59, Teal 1, Tufted Duck 7, Goldeneye 2, Red-breasted Merganser 1, Shag 26, Cormorant 22, Golden Eagle 1, White-tailed Eagle 1, Common Buzzard 1, Bar-tailed Godwit 37, Purple Sandpiper 85, Redshank 7, Black-headed Gull 1, Rock Dove 42, Hooded Crow 2, Raven 6 and Rock Pipit 1

Little Egret and drake Pintail on Coot Loch this morning but no sign of the Green-winged Teal

The female Ring-necked Duck was still on Loch Tangasdale, Barra today. At Eoligarry there were at least 12 Snow Buntings on the beach along with 30 Twite and 15 Linnets. 2 Tree Sparrows were still at Brevig.

There was an adult Iceland Gull at Loch Airigh na Lic (near Stornoway landfill site) this morning.
