Despite the W wind F5-6 at Aird an Runair, North Uist there was hardly anything heading SW apart from a trickle of Gannets and a single Great Northen Diver (only watched 10.00-10.30 hours). Just before 10.00 a flock of 14 Greenland White-fronted Geese flew S just over rocks at end of headland. Also seen again was the Little Egret (at Loch a' Roe and later on Loch na Reivil).
At Loch nam Feithean a bit later there were some 1,600 Barnacle Geese, a Canada Goose (somewhat distant for any specific ideas as to race), and five Pintail.
