On Barra today, the black redstart was still around Tangasdale. Just down the road a carrion crow was on the machair at Borve. 2 gadwall flew south past Allasdale. No sign of any spotted flycatchers today but still at least 3 siskins on the island. 3 house martins drifted north over Brevig mid afternoon.

The Curlew Sandpiper at Aird an Rùnair today appeared to be different from the bird of yesterday. Also Tom Christian earlier in the morning recorded two Long-tailed Skuas and a Pomarine Skua flying N. I believe the total of Long-tailed for the month now stands at 53 with half in one flock on the 22nd.

Also on North Uist this morning a Sandwich Tern was seen by Graham at Rubha Mor.
