16 Long-tailed Tits were seen there in gardens and on overhead wires

3 Common Scoters flew north and a Puffin was close inshore. A pair of Pintail were on Loch a Roe
Balivanich, Benbecula
9 Common Scoter were seen offshore today
Loch Bee, South Uist
The juvenile Velvet Scoter was again seen at the southern end of the loch. 8 Scaup and 35 Goldeneye were also there
South Glendale, South Uist
2 Blackcaps (male and female) were still visiting a garden there

Weather: Wind N veering ENE f2. Mostly sunny, temp 3-5c.
A 2 hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Velvet Scoter [juvenile] (S), 4 Common Scoters (S), 6 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 6 Red-throated Divers (3N 3S), 5 Gannets (1N 4S), and 10 Shag (8N 2S).
Also present in the area were Barnacle Goose 4, Greylag Goose 220, Gadwall [male[] 1, Wigeon 84, Teal 17, Tufted Duck 12, Eider 1, Long-tailed Duck 4, Curlew 13, Snipe 4, Red-throated Diver 65, Great Northern Diver 7, Grey Heron 1, Hen Harrier 1, White-tailed Eagle 1, Common Buzzard 1, Hooded Crow 5, Skylark 1, Pied Wagtail 1, Rock Pipit 1, and Twite 169
